"Peace at Sunset" a vertical canvas print
“Peace at Sunset” is a moment of reflection, a moving on from past challenges toward the hope of tomorrow.
From the artist: My husband and I had been apart for months as we transitioned homes and jobs in our move to Seattle. The inspiration photo for this painting was taken at the end of a long day of driving toward our reunion, along the California coast. I remember it as a time of reflection, a closing of one chapter as we moved forward together. There was fear of the unknown, of change, and so much hope. “Peace at Sunset” is the moment of stillness before a big change. Of standing in the dark unknown, looking across bright, hopeful waters.
This piece is printed on lovely, gallery-quality matte canvas with a giclée printer to show all the texture and vibrancy of its original. After being hand-cut in the studio, it will arrive unstretched in either a protective mailer or tube.
Add a border and varnish: select this option if you plan to stretch your canvas print or frame it without glass. The print will arrive with an extra 2” white margin, perfect for stretching, as well as hand-painted varnish to add protection and the same finishing touch as an original. Please note that the varnish will need extra time to dry, so please allow two weeks for shipping this option.
