From the ArtistMy young son and I went exploring early one morning. Frost covered the rocks by the river and snow was nestled among the roots of plants across the way. Mountains shaded us, with the bright morning light creeping up the river as the sun rose.
And my son could not have cared less about the beauty of it all. He was too busy playing with rocks, making his own fun. His joy was infectious, coloring the whole morning, and shining through in the bright colors of this painting.
